Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has said he will not grant interviews to the BBC following its refusal to broadcast an appeal for aid for the Gaza Strip.

Mr ElBaradei said he believed the BBC’s decision broke ‘the rules of basic human decency’.

Meanwhile, a joint legal action has been launched against the BBC, accusing it of discriminating against Palestinians.
