A Bahraini court has postponed human rights activist Nabeel Rajab’s trial date for an eighth time until 21 February
Index award-winning human rights activist Nabeel Rajab’s pre-trial detention was renewed for a further 15 days by Bahrain’s Public Prosecution on 5 January according to Nabeel’s lawyer.
Nabeel Rajab, the prominent Bahraini human rights activist who has been held in prison for the past seven months, was due to be released on bail but remains in Jau prison.
